When nothing is done, nothing is left undone.
Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching, ch. 48
We work with schools on teaching, learning, and what AI is actually changing about both. That means board sessions, faculty workshops, and research partnerships with teachers who want to study their own classrooms.
Four ways we partner with schools
01. Board and leadership sessions on AI
A clear-eyed briefing for trustees and senior teams: what generative AI does well and badly, what it means for how students learn, and which decisions belong to leadership. You leave with a shared vocabulary and a set of questions to keep asking, rather than a policy written in a hurry.
Format: 90-minute session or half-day retreat, in person or on Zoom
02. Faculty and department workshops
Practical, research-grounded sessions for teachers. Recent topics include learning in “kind” versus “wicked” environments, retrieval practice and memory, and redesigning assignments so the thinking stays with the student. Each workshop is built around your faculty, your subjects, and the work they’re already doing.
Format: After-school session, half day, or full day
03. Teacher research (SoTL)
We help teachers take a question from their own classroom and study it properly: pick an intervention, gather evidence, and see what holds up. We coach the design, help make sense of the results, and help write it up so colleagues can learn from it. The goal is to turn intuition into investigation, and story into study.
Format: Full-faculty workshop, or a semester or year-long cohort
04. Course and curriculum design
Building or rebuilding a course, a unit, or a professional-learning program from the learning goals outward, with an honest look at where AI belongs and where it doesn’t.
Format: Scoped to the project
Start with a conversation
A free 30-minute call. Tell us what’s going on at your school and what you’re hoping changes. No pitch.
A short proposal. We send back a one-page outline: format, focus, and what participants will walk away with.
Built for your room. Every session is designed for the people in it. We use your context, your examples, and your questions.
Follow-through. Slides, resources, and a debrief afterward, so the work keeps going once we’ve left.
Fees depend on scope and format. We’d rather find a number that fits your budget than lose a good partnership over it.

Why “undone”
Learning is collective, emergent, and unfinished. So is figuring out what school should be right now.
Most schools don’t need another keynote telling them AI changes everything, or another one telling them it changes nothing. They need room to think with someone who still teaches, who has read the research, and who will tell them when the evidence is thin. We bring frameworks and a point of view. We don’t bring a packaged answer, because there isn’t one yet.
Our logo is a book that’s also a record. Teaching, at its best, works like a good DJ set: you curate, you sample, you read the room, and you’re always mixing in something new. Always moving. Always made.
