Who we are

Justin Cerenzia

Justin directs the Center for Teaching & Learning at The Episcopal Academy, a PK–12 school outside Philadelphia, where he also teaches U.S. History. His work sits where learning science, classroom practice, and AI meet. He leads the school’s teacher-research program and spends a lot of time helping colleagues work out what’s worth changing and what isn’t.

He has worked with boards, leadership teams, and faculties at schools including Holy Ghost Preparatory School, Boston University Academy, Gesu School, and The Hill School.

He writes The Academic DJ, a newsletter about teaching and learning with riffs on AI, parenting, and coaching. He has also played hockey goalie for more than thirty years, which turns out to be decent training for staying calm while things fly at you.
